Summary: Enhancing the IFAP Subscription Email
Posted on April 8, 2002
Dear Partner:
In support of FSA's commitment to providing you with great products and services, we are planning to enhance the IFAP subscription email service. If you are not currently taking advantage of this email alert of new postings to the IFAP website, please check out our offerings under "Member Services" at: http://ifap.ed.gov/IFAPWebApp/logonMemberServicesPag.jsp.
We have some specific enhancements planned. We’d also like to hear from you about any improvements you’d like to see.
We plan, for instance, to remove the "Program/Topic" listings on the email. While we will still offer the index of publications by Program and Topic (see http://ifap.ed.gov/IFAPWebApp/topicPag.jsp), we don't feel that information adds to the subscription email.
Over time, as we have added new publication types to the IFAP store of information (e.g. COD and Pell/RFMS publications) we haven't always presented a brief summary of the document that was posted. We plan to ensure that each publication is briefly described in the subscription email.
Please forward your suggestions to us at our email address: fsa.customer.support@ed.gov. Your suggestions are always welcomed, however please try to forward your ideas about the IFAP subscription email service not later than April 30, 2002. Soon thereafter you will see the fruits of our combined efforts.
Thanks, in advance, for your assistance in improving the services we provide.
