Have you ever received the following error in EDconnect "Error -3 contact customer service for details on the error"? This error will display when trying to transmit with an expired SAIG network password. It is not necessary to call Customer service when your SAIG password expires. Simply transmit a new "network and local" password change to your SAIG mailbox. Instructions for transmitting a "network and local" password change may be found in the EDconnect Desk Reference available at fsadownload.ed.gov/index.htm or from the Help menu in EDconnect 5.x

If you transmit data via Mainframe or Midrange EasyAccess client the following warning message will display in your job output logs: "332 Change password required". Instructions for changing the network password are available in the SAIG Host Communication Guide for Mainframe and Midrange Users v1.2 at fsadownload.ed.gov/index.htm .
