RE: Processing Delay

An Electronic Announcement was posted February 5th describing actions being taken by SAIG to resolve EDconnect errors -4, -1 and processed data availability. Because RFMS is one of the SFA Application systems that relies on SAIG to receive records and return data to schools, until SAIG has completed its upgrade, RFMS will continue to experience delays in processing data This includes processing origination, disbursement batches for 1999-2000, 2000-2001 and 2001-2002, as well as processing requests for Year-to-Date and reconciliation files.

If you have experienced a delay in receipt of your batch acknowledgments or data requests, please be aware that efforts to process RFMS data on the scheduled cycles are being made and we expect to return to a more normal schedule over the next two weeks when the SAIG upgrade is due to be completed.  Â

We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time. If you have any questions please contact Pell Grant Customer Service at 800-474-7268 or by e-mail at pell.systems@ed.gov
