RE: Reminder: RADD03OP Files Have Been Sent To Destinations Points
In early November, the CPS sent RADD03OP files to destination points. The RADD03OP file is an electronic file that lists all applicants eligible for a Renewal FAFSA who listed a school code under your destination point. This file identifies which students received a paper Renewal FAFSA and which students received a PIN mailer. The RADD03OP file also includes each student’s mailing address and his or her email address (if the email address was provided to the CPS).
The RADD03OP file is in ASCII (text) format. You do not need special software to read the file. It can be opened in any word processing software, including Wordpad, Microsoft Word, and WordPerfect.
Please note: If you requested PINs after October 26, your RADD file will indicate that your students received a paper Renewal FAFSA. However, the students will receive both a paper Renewal FAFSA and a PIN mailer.
For information regarding the RADD03OP file and other changes made to the 2002-2003 Renewal FAFSA process, please refer to 2002-2003 Action Letter # 1 (Gen-01-10, August 2001). This action letter is available on the IFAP web site at the following URL: http://www.ifap.ed.gov/dpcletters/GEN0110CovLetter.html.
If you were expecting a RADD03OP file and have not received one, or if you have questions, please contact CPS/WAN Technical Support at (800) 330-5947, or via email at cpswan@ncs.com.
