The Washington staff of the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Student Financial Assistance (SFA) is moving to new space at Union Center Plaza, 830 First Street, N.E., in Washington, D.C.

The Customer Service Call Center (CSCC) will be moving on Friday, October 26, through Monday, October 29. During the move, the CSCC staff, unfortunately, will not be available to assist you.

If on those two business days you need immediate assistance, contact your regional representative or visit the Schools Portal at "http://www.fsa4schools.ed.gov" and click on the "Contacts" button for a list of our various call centers.

The CSCC toll-free number, 1-800-433-7327, is staying the same, even after the move. Our business hours will also remain the same, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time.

If you call the 800 number on October 26-29, you may leave a message. You also may e-mail inquiries to "sfa.customer.support@ed.gov." Our CSCC staff will respond to you as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We look forward to resuming normal operations on Tuesday, October 30.
