Summary: Transmitting those files with EDconnect 5.0

Posted on October 24, 2001

CPS/WAN Technical Support wants to make those destination points that create Perkins files with the Data Prep software aware that we have located an issue when transmitting those files with EDconnect 5.0. We are actively pursuing a solution that will allow our new SFA to the Internet software to transmit Perkins files. In the mean time, destination points can transmit those files with EDconnect 4.1. Destination points that have migrated over to SFA to the Internet should continue to transmit and receive all other files with EDconnect 5.0.

After you transmit your Perkins files with EDconnect 4.1, log back into EDconnect 5.0 to reset the version of EDconnect for the EDExpress auto export process. This will ensure that your EDconnect Transmission Queue will continue to be pre-filled after you batch your files in EDexpress so that manual entry is not required.
