Please be advised: "if a school is submitting Cohort Default Rate adjustments and/or appeals to Default Management by overnight mail/courier (only) prior to October 22, 2001 please use Default Management's current address which is: U.S. Department of Education, Default Management Portals Building, Room 6300, 1250 Maryland Avenue SW, Washington DC 20024. The address that is listed in the new Cohort Default Rate Guide [830 First Street, NE, Washington DC 2002] will not be effective until October 22, 2001 for overnight mail/courier. If any school has already sent their adjustment/appeal package to the First Street address and it was returned "unable to deliver," please re-send and include the information that supports the original mail date. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. "
