Re: EAC: 2001 Conference Update
Student Financial Assistance (SFA), like the rest of the country, was greatly saddened by the profoundly tragic events that occurred in New York City. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to those members of our financial aid family that were either directly or indirectly affected. In the same spirit that President Bush has asked each American to continue on with their lives, we want to let all of you know that the Electronic Access Conferences (EACs) will continue as planned. This year's conferences have the most robust session offerings of any previous conference. An updated session list will be posted later this week on the conference web site with a tentative agenda posted next week.
We understand that some of you may have already registered and can no longer attend. Please call Jackie Miller at 319-339-6542 or send her an e-mail at confsuggest@ncs.com and she will cancel your registration.
We also want to inform you of these important dates:
1. The cut-off date for reserving a sleeping room for the Reno EAC is October 1st.
2. The cut-off date for registering for the Reno EAC is October 22nd.
Go to http://edeworkshop.ncspearson.com for more information and to register for the conference. SFA is looking forward to seeing all of you at this year's EACs.
