CPS/WAN Technical Support would like to remind schools of a software change in 2001-2002 EDExpress that may affect your procedure for resending rejected Pell disbursement records to RFMS without updates to the disbursement date or the submitted amount.

Using 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 EDExpress, you can only resend a Pell disbursement record with a disbursement status of E (Rejected) to RFMS by selecting File | Save on the Pell disbursement tab. This process updates the disbursement status from E to R (Ready to Export).

Using 2001-2002 EDExpress, the Pell disbursement status does not need to be changed from E to R in order for you to resend the disbursement to RFMS. A Pell disbursement record with a disbursement status of E will automatically be picked up during the next Pell disbursement export you run.
