RE: Delay in Pell Processing

Pell/RFMS is experiencing production processing delays. If you sent batches or data requests after 1:30 PM eastern time August 2, RFMS has not retrieved them from TIWAN or processed them. Please do not resubmit these batches, as RFMS will reject the second submission as a duplicate.

We expect to resume our normal Pell/RFMS production processing by August 6.

We know this is a busy time for you on your campuses as you work to close out the 2000-2001 award year and begin the 2001-2002 year. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay causes you.

An issue has been discovered in the processing of Pell files and Data requests that has caused a delay. Batches and data requests sent to RFMS after 1:30 PM ET on Thursday August 2 have not been retrieved from TIV WAN or processed. Please do not resubmit your batches, as this will cause the batches to reject if the same batch is submitted more than once. Normal processing should return by Monday, August 6. RFMS appreciates your patience and understanding at this time.
