SUBJECT:
Posting for 2001-2002 SFA Handbook Dear Partner,We are completing work on the 2001-2002 SFA Handbook, and several volumes are currently being prepared for posting on IFAP.
- Volume 4: Campus-Based Common Provisions
- Volume 5: Federal Perkins Loans
- Volume 7: Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants
- Volume 8: Direct Loan and FFEL Programs
We are posting the PDF files for these volumes on a preview page, so that you can reference and download them right now. The Web address for this preview page is: http://www.ed.gov/offices/OSFAP/ifap/preview/index.html
Volumes 4 and 9 of the Handbook have been completed, and the PDF files will be posted to this page shortly. The remainder of the Handbook (Volumes 1, 2, and 6) are approaching completion and will also be posted to this page shortly. When all volumes are completed, we will send the Handbook to print and let you know. At this time, we anticipate that we will be able to mail the Handbook in June.
While this restores the Handbook its normal delivery schedule, we have heard from many members of the community that you need this information earlier in the year. We believe that we will be able to significantly advance the schedule for the release of the 2002-2003 Handbook.
You'll find that we've made quite a few revisions over the past two editions to clarify how some of the program requirements apply to financial aid office processes. Please feel free to contact our Research and Publications Group with suggestions, additions, and any corrections. You can contact the publications group by e:mail at sfaschoolspubs@ed.gov
Thank you for interest in the Handbook.
