The Department of Education has great news for schools: the number of customer service telephone numbers you need to remember is about to become a little smaller!

We are proud to announce the coming merger of the CPS and Title IV WAN Customer Service groups into a new unified group called CPS/WAN Technical Support. And -- there will no longer be a charge for requesting support or technical assistance from the newly merged CPS/WAN Technical Support!

By combining these two customer service call centers into one, we hope to increase customer satisfaction and reduce your operating costs.

How will this change increase customer satisfaction?

By combining the CPS and Title IV WAN Customer Service groups into CPS/WAN Technical Support, we will be able to minimize call transfers between different call centers on related issues.

When will this change take place?

Beginning April 2, 2001, you can direct all of your questions regarding CPS processing, EDESuite software (including EDExpress), EDconnect software, SAIG enrollment, SFAdownload web site and SAIG data transmissions to CPS/WAN Technical Support. You will be able to contact CPS/WAN Technical Support at (800) 330-5947, or via email at CPSWAN@ncs.com. The hours of operation for CPS/WAN Technical Support will be weekdays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Central Time.
