RE: CPS Query Instructions Available

Please visit the Department’s SFAdownload Web site, located at
http://fsadownload.ed.gov/index.htm, for instructions on using CPS Query.

CPS Query is an online service schools can use to access the Central Processing System (CPS) mainframe to obtain batch status information and submit data requests. Using CPS Query, you can request Renewal Application Data (RAD) files, request Year-to-Date (YTD) information for your students, and access the Process Control System (PCS) to check the status of the batches you send to and receive from the CPS. This user guide provides instructions on how to use CPS Query to request your RAD files, request YTD files, and view the PCS.

The instructions are available on SFAdownload in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and Microsoft Word formats.

If you encounter any problems downloading from the SFAdownload Web site, please contact Title IV WAN Customer Service at 800/615-1189 or via email at
