The U. S. Department of Education invites qualified individuals to apply for the positions of Chief of Direct Loan Operations and Chief of Pell Operations, within the area of Title IV Delivery, Schools Channel, Student Financial Assistance (a Performance Based Organization).

The successful candidates will provide the full range of managerial responsibilities and provide leadership for each of the support areas within either Direct Loan Operations or Pell Operations. The Direct Loan Operations Division is responsible for the overall management of the Direct Loan Program, and for the processes and systems which support the origination, disbursement and reconciliation of Direct Loans at participating institutions. The Pell Operations Division is responsible for the overall management of the Pell Grant Program, and for the processes and systems which support program delivery to all eligible institutions.

It is the expectation that both positions will be filled through this one announcement.
