| PublicationDate: 8/29/2000 Summary: FISAP Version 3.1 Installation Tip Author: General Manager: SFA Student Channel Posted on August 29, 2000 TO: All Destination Points FROM: CPS Customer Service RE: FISAP Version 3.1 Installation Tip CPS Customer Service has received several inquiries regarding an installation issue with FISAP Version 3.1 that we wish to clarify. When installing FISAP Version 3.1, the InstallShield Wizard screens display Version 3.1 throughout the progressive screens you select. However, when you complete installation of Version 3.1 and open the software, the splash screen that first comes up and the help text within the software both display Version 3.0 as the current version. This issue has caused some confusion to schools. We wish to reassure all FISAP users that if they are able to successfully install and run either Version 3.0 or Version 3.1 without error, they are using the correct version. Version 3.1 was developed solely to resolve an installation issue some schools experienced with Version 3.0. There is no other difference between the two versions. The FISAP processing functionality in both versions is identical. FISAP Versions 3.0 and 3.1 were developed by the Department for use by schools in filing the Fiscal Operations Report for program participation during the award year July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000 and the Application to Participate for the award year July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002.
