An "all-but-final" version of the 2001-2002 FAFSA has been posted to IFAP. This version, which has been cleared by OMB, contains updated state deadlines and year 2000 IRS tax line items. As a final check before we go to print, we are posting the FAFSA to IFAP for review by interested financial aid professionals. The period of review is from 8/25/2000 through the end of 9/8/2000.

The 2000 W-2 and W-2 instructions are final. They are also available on the IRS' website at http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/prod/forms_pubs/forms.html

We are testing variations of the drug question wording (Question 35) with students now. We will post revised wording to Question 35 to IFAP separately.

If you find errors on the FAFSA, please e-mail them to sfa_customer_support@ed.gov by 9/8/2000 with the subject line "2001-2002 FAFSA Final Review." Comments and suggestions for improvements are welcome, and will be considered during development of the 2002-2003 FAFSA.
