Subject: Changes to Title IV WAN Voice Processing System

Please note effective Wednesday June 28, 2000 3 p.m. CST, options on the Title IV WAN voice processing system (VPS) have changed. You will find the frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) updated and we have eliminated some of the infrequently used menu options. This will eliminate the need for pressing the (#) sign to select an option. If you are a mainframe school your option will change from #5 to #4

The VPS options will appear as indicated below. You can access this menu by dialing
1-800-615-1189, selecting option 1, and entering the last 5 digits of your Title IV WAN user ID.

Option 1: Resets your Title IV WAN password

Option 2: For assistance with all Title IV WAN software

Option 3: Billing information and assistance.

Option 4: Assistance for users who transmit data with a mainframe computer.

Option 5: Information on workshops, conferences, training information, etc.

Option 6: Transfer to CPS, DLOC, CPS-DL, NSLDS, OR Pell Payment

Option 7: To order renewal applications or other products.

Option 8: Frequently asked questions (FAQ’S)
