As of Monday evening, April 3, 2000 a delay is occurring in the transmission of financial data from RFMS to GAPS (Grant Administration and Payment System.) RFMS is continuing to process batches of Origination and Disbursement data. However, RFMS is unable to send data to GAPS to increase a school's authorization level when an institution's disbursements exceed its current authorization. Schools will notice the delay in the receipt of Statements of Account. The issue is currently being addressed and will be resolved as quickly as possible.
