This message announces a new feature, a Disbursement Summary screen, now available on the RFMS Pell Grants Online Web Site (
www.pellgrantsonline.ed.gov). This enhancement was requested by users of the web site. We added Disbursement Summary as a menu option under Funding Levels on the web page that displays when you log on to the web site.

To view your Disbursement Summary information, click on the Disbursement Summary menu option and the first Disbursement Summary screen will display. Select the award year (currently, only award year 2000 data is available) and click on [submit] to access the second Disbursement Summary screen. This screen displays your (1) Total Positive Disbursements Accepted by RFMS, (2) Total Negative Disbursements Accepted by RFMS, (3) Net Total Disbursements Accepted by RFMS and (4) the Date of your Last Disbursement Accepted by RFMS.

The amounts displayed on this screen may differ from the amounts on the Accounting Balances screen. The account balances reflect your Authorization Amount in GAPS on the effective date at the top of the screen. Usually it takes one to two days for disbursements processed by RFMS to be reflected in your authorization amount in GAPS.
