Re: No processing on February 10, 2000

We implemented the Prisoner Match between the Central Processing System (CPS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA) on Wednesday February 9, 2000. Unfortunately, SSA was not able to process the file in time for CPS to process records on Thursday, February 10, 2000. This means you will not receive any ISIRs with a processed date of 2/10/2000.

The CPS will process all records that would normally have been processed during the week in four (4) processing runs instead of the normal five (5). CPS will complete the pick up of all records for processing by close of business, Friday, February 11, 2000.

In addition, there was a problem with the Prisoner file but we managed to fix the file in order to process all the records successfully. Therefore, you will receive data in the Prisoner Match Field (#154, position 607) on the ISIR for the processing dates of Friday, February 11, 2000 and Monday, February 14, 2000. However, we decided to turn the match off again until the problems are thoroughly resolved. We will send you another message when the match is activated again.
