S. Department of Education invites qualified individuals to apply for the newly established position of Liaison for Proprietary Institutions of Higher Education within Student Financial Assistance. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between Student Financial Assistance and members of the financial aid community who are involved with proprietary postsecondary education and with others who interact with proprietary postsecondary institutions. Serving as an agency expert, the liaison provides authoritative advice and consultation to ED officials and customers; provides technical assistance and resource management support; evaluates, recommends and facilitates implementation of new approaches and alternatives through cooperative efforts including outreach to program constituents and customers.
