RE: Use of Windows 2000 with 32-bit ED software

In February, 2000, Microsoft Corporation is scheduled to release Windows 2000, an upgrade to its PC operating system. We wish to alert all users of current 32-bit ED software, including EDExpress, EDconnect, FISAP for Windows, SSCR and QAP, that ED software products have not been tested for use in the Windows 2000 environment. However, ED and its partners are working diligently to test and resolve Windows 2000 compatibility issues, and will communicate any new information or determinations to you as they become available.

Running ED's 32-bit products in a Windows 2000 environment may damage your software database(s), warranting reinstallation and recreation of your database(s).

Please continue to run all ED 32-bit products in a Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT environment.

For further information on system requirements for ED's 32-bit software, please consult the Installation Guide of the particular software version.

If you have any questions regarding 32-bit EDconnect, please contact Title IV WAN Customer Service at 800/615/1189, or via email at T4WAN@NCS.COM. If you have any questions regarding the other 32-bit ED products mentioned in this message, please contact CPS Customer Service at 800/330-5947, or via email at
