This message is to clarify a response "Disbursement Date"
(see below) posted previously on SFATECH on January 4, 2000,
regarding Pell Grant Processing.

The information provided in the last section of the response regarding
the reporting of disbursement dates is inaccurate. Please disregard
that portion of the response. We apologize for any inconvenience this
may cause you.

In the near future, the Department will issue specific guidance on the
reporting of Disbursement Dates via a network message. We thank
you for your patience.
