RE: PIN Web site Outage - Y2K Activities

Due to preparations associated with Y2K contingency activities, the PIN Registration site located at http://www.pin.ed.gov will not be available on Friday, December 31 from 12:01 a.m. (Central) through 12:01 p.m. (Central). This will affect the ability for students and borrowers to obtain information from the various web sites that require a PIN for access. Due to the holiday, Customer Service will not be available during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your students.
