CAMPUS & COMMUNITY: Building Sustainable Literacy Partnerships will help schools, colleges, community organizations, religious groups, libraries, and others develop effective partnerships to improve children’s reading achievement. Whether you are just starting a program or are looking for ways to expand an existing partnership, this interactive teleconference will offer practical tools and strategies to help you succeed.

The teleconference is presented in two segments. Part I, Opening Doors to New Relationships will air at 1:30 Eastern Time and will be of special interest to communities and campuses just getting started with their local literacy efforts. Part II, Reaping the Benefits of Collaboratives will air at 2:30 pm Eastern Time and will address how community and university partners can grow and sustain their collaboration.

This teleconference will provide an opportunity for participants to interact with experts as they share their stories for effective partnerships.
