RE: Rejection of 1998-1999 ISIR Correction Batches

The Central Processing System rejected some correction batches (SARE99OP )
sent to CPS on August 17, 1999 and August 18, 1999. The batch error reports
(SARE99OP) returned to schools via the Title IV WAN for pick-up on August 17
and 18 contained the error message "115 TRAN RDT INVALID VALUE."

These rejects were caused by an incorrect parameter set in the CPS for the
electronic ISIR correction deadline. This CPS parameter has since been changed,
and the correction batches containing this error will be reprocessed. The ISIRs will be
sent to schools via the Title IV WAN under the SARR99OP message class on the
evening of August 18, 1999.
