RE: Version 3.1 EDExpress for Windows

1. In the Installation Guide for EDExpress for Windows v3.1, page 3,
under "Hardware and Software Requirements", the sixth bullet states that users are
required to have a "Hewlett Packard (HP) LaserJet III compatible printer or above (note:
be sure you use the Hewlett Packard (HP) IIIsi drivers, regardless of what printer you
use)".

EDExpress Windows version 3.1 will allow you to print using any HP
Laserjet III or above compatible printer using the print driver associated with that printer.
Please update the note in your installation guide to say: "Be sure to use the print driver
that corresponds with the printer you are using. Using an incompatible print driver will
cause documents to print in a different format."

In addition, EDExpress has been developed and tested to print in
the Windows NT environment.

2. Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 users: If you are using an HP IIIsi
driver, when printing multiple ISIRs with the comments page option chosen, the
comment text on the first ISIR prints in an 8-inch column. On subsequent ISIRs in that
printing, the comment page text prints in a 4.5-inch column rather than across the page.
The comments are still accurate and no data is lost. CPS Development is looking into
ways to resolve this for future releases. (This does not occur in the Windows NT
environment.)

3. Users have called requesting how to print ENAS calculations when making
corrections on the SAR/ISIR tab. You can calculate an EFC but not print
it due to specification changes to the software. It will display to the screen and if you
wish to print this, you could do a print screen and paste to Paintbrush or some other
Windows accessory. This function will be reviewed for inclusion in the 98-99 software.

4. When importing corrections, please select the Automatic ISIRs
option rather than the ISIR Data Corrections option and change the file name to
SARR98*.* to properly import the records. This will be corrected in a future release of
the software.

5. If your destination point represents a state agency who requests
FDR ISIRs, please contact CPS Customer Service for assistance in setting up the
software to import these ISIRs.
