The incumbent develops and directs the definition, formulation, development and interpretation of customer service policies. Directs dissemination of program regulations, legislation, and policy interpretations for all Title IV programs through the Customer Support Branch. He/She is responsible for service development and for the overall coordination of Branch activities. Identifies programmatic areas requiring policy determinations for Title IV programs in general and assures forwarding of that information to the appropriate policy section. Assures that existing or proposed procedures are in conformance with program policy, regulation, and legislation.
