This position, referred to as the Area Case Director, is located in the Institutional Participation and Oversight Service, Student Financial Assistance Programs. The Area Case Director provides direction for a team of approximately 30 employees and has responsibility for over 700 institutions in a six-state area. The incumbent utilizes the integrated case management approach to monitoring and evaluating postsecondary educational institutionsÂ’ compliance with Title IV student financial assistance (SFA) legislation and regulations. Specific areas include financial analysis, eligibility determination, audit resolution, and program review, as well as targeted technical assistance. This position is based in the Atlanta Regional Office and reports directly to the Division Director in Washington, DC. Applicants should have a strong management background with emphasis on functioning in a team environment, as well as knowledge of the Title IV SFA programs.
