RE: Tip of the Week - Printing Address Labels

This week's tip highlights a specific feature or process in the EDExpress 1998-1999 software: Printing Address Labels

EDExpress users have the option, when printing address labels via File/Print/Global/Labels - Address, to select the local or permanent student address for printing. During the print job, the software pulls the selected address information from the student's DEMO (demographic information) tab.

If, during the address label printing, labels print with only a student name, the local address was selected on the address label print screen. Entry of the local address on the DEMO tab is optional; so if the local address field is blank, a blank address will print on the address label when local address is selected.

We recommend when printing address labels you select the permanent address. The "Permanent" address will print the address from the ISIR that created the DEMO tab record upon import unless it has been modified on the DEMO tab.
