PublicationDate: 9/11/98 Summary: Tip of the Week - Identifying SSCR records not ready to export to NSLDS Author: CPS - Central Processing System (CPS) Posted September 11, 1998 TO: All Destination Points FROM: CPS Customer Service RE: Tip of the Week --- Identifying SSCR records not ready to export to NSLDS. This week's tip highlights a specific feature or process in the 32-bit SSCR software: Identifying SSCR records not ready to export to NSLDS. When trying to export a SSCR Submittal File (SSCR99IN.*) in 32-bit SSCR, users may receive a message stating "All SSCR records are not ready to send to NSLDS for this batch. Unable to run export." The message occurs because not all records imported for this batch are at a status of "R" (Ready to Transmit). Print the "List-SSCR Report" to help you identify records at a status of "N" (Not Ready). To print this report, select File/Print, then the report type "List-SSCR", then the Multiple option. Select SSCR Status "N" and insert the appropriate import Batch ID (#I) of the submittal file you are trying to export, and then run the report. The report lists all records which must be updated and saved before the Submittal File Export can occur. Pay special attention to the Date of Anticipated Completion, the Enrollment Status Code and the Date Enrollment Status Effective, as these three fields must be completed before the record will be updated to an "R" status during the save process.
