PublicationDate: 5/20/98 Summary: Tip of the Week --- Identifying SSCR records not ready to export Author: CPS - Central Processing System (CPS) Posted May 20, 1998 TO: All Destination Points FROM: CPS Customer Service RE: Tip of the Week --- Identifying SSCR records not ready to export This week's tip highlights a specific feature or process in the EDExpress 98-99 software: SSCR --- Identifying SSCR records not ready to export Situation: When trying to export a SSCR Submittal file (SSCR99IN.*) in EDExpress version 4.2 and the upcoming SSCR-32 product, users may receive a message stating "All SSCR records are not ready to send to NSLDS for this batch. Unable to run export." The message occurs because not all records imported for this batch are at a status of "R" (ready to transmit). Resolution: An EDExpress report will help you identify Submittal SSCR records that are at a "Not Ready" (or "N") status. To print this report, select File/Print/SSCR, then the report type "List - SSCR," then the Multiple option. Select SSCR Status "N" and insert the appropriate import Batch ID (#I) of the Submittal file you are trying to export, and then run the report. The report lists all records which must be updated and saved before the Submittal file export can occur. Pay special attention to Date of Anticipated Completion, the Enrollment Status code and the Date Enrollment Status Effective, as these three fields must be completed before the record will update to an "R" status during a save.
