RE: Tip of the Week - Automatically Prepare Export Files for Transmission

This week's Tip highlighting a specific feature or process in the EDExpress software:
Automatically Prepare Export Files for Transmission

Feature/Process: The 98-99 EDExpress for Windows software will automatically prepare
export files for transmission in EDConnect. This function, new to EDExpress for 98-99,
requires you have EDConnect loaded on the computer from which you are batching. To
activate, put a check next to the option "Automatically prepare export files for
transmission" under Tools/Setup/Global/System. After exporting a batch in EDExpress,
the EDConnect software will then automatically display the export files in the
transmission queue.

Why you should use it: This feature saves you processing time, as you no longer have
to locate and select export files for formatting prior to transmission in EDConnect.

Note: You will also find this feature in the 98-99 Pell Payment for Windows software
(due for release this summer).
