| PublicationDate: 9/25/96 Summary: "S" packaging status not included on Fund Lists Author: CPS - Central Processing System (CPS) TO: EDExpress Packaging Users FROM: CPS Customer Service RE: "S" packaging status not included on Fund Lists DATE: September 25, 1996 (307) In the Packaging module of EDExpress, the "Packaged Students by Fund Code" list does not include those students with a Fund Decision "S" (Suspend). Therefore, the list may not reflect the total amount of awarded funds calculated by the software. However, the funds are deducted from the fund balances in the software. The software is working as specified which is based on input from a FOCUS group of financial aid administrators. At the next Packaging software focus group meeting, the issue will be reviewed to determine if this should be changed to include the students with a Fund Decision "S". In addition, in some cases, students will have a Fund Decision which is blank, rather than "A," "S," or "D." These students do not appear on lists and are not accounted for in fund balances. To locate these students, create a query to find Packaging Results not equal to () A and Packaging Results not equal to () S and Packaging Results not equal to () D and Packaging Status equal to (=) P. Go to File | Print | Labels - File Folders, choose Selection Criteria, and choose as a User-Defined Criteria the above query. The students who appear on this printout will need to be reviewed.
