SUBJECT: Receiving 97-98 Data

The Central Processing System started processing 1997-98 data last weekend. In order
to successfully draw down 97-98 data, you will need to use either IAM version 1.5 which
was sent to all users the last week of December, or EDconnect for Windows version 2.0.
If an earlier version of IAM is used to draw down 97-98 data, the files will not
automatically decompress.

If you have already drawn down 97-98 files with a version of IAM earlier than 1.5, follow
these instructions to manually decompress the files:

1) In EDconnect, go to Utility|Decompress.
2) In the "Compressed File" field, type in the path you have specified as
your data directory, followed by the compressed filename
(C:for example).
3) In the "Decompressed File" field, type in the same path, but in the file
name, use the next available extension number (C: for
example).
4) Press the Enter key on "OK". The file should now be decompressed, and
can be imported into EDExpress, or other software.

Please load the latest version of IAM DOS 1.5.0 or EDconnect Windows 2.0.0 at your
earliest convenience.
