PublicationDate: 7/21/99 Summary: Pell Acknowledgement Import Errors Author: CPS - Central Processing System (CPS) Posted on July 21, 1999 TO: All Destination Points FROM: CPS Customer Service RE: Pell Acknowledgement Import Errors We wish to advise you of a recently identified issue regarding importing Pell Acknowledgement files into EDExpress Version 5.3. Several users are receiving batch integrity error messages when attempting to import Origination and Disbursement acknowledgement files (message classes PGOA00OP and PGDA00OP, respectively) into Version 5.3. These batch integrity errors will occur if the Origination file you sent contained more than 175 records, or if the Disbursement file you sent contained more than 97 records. Acknowledgement files for Origination or Disbursement batches with less than these specific numbers of records will import successfully into Version 5.3. CPS Customer Service and Development are currently researching solutions to this issue, which will be communicated to the user community soon. In the meantime, we ask that you export 175 or less Origination records per batch, and 97 or less Disbursement records per batch. If you have already experienced a batch integrity error as a result of an Origination or Disbursement acknowledgement import, we ask that you retain these acknowledgement files in your data directory until a workaround is communicated to you. We also wish to confirm your Origination and Disbursement batches ARE being processed by RFMS, even if the batches sent exceed the record counts noted above. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you. Please contact CPS Customer Service at 800-330-5947, option 4, or via email at CPS@NCS.COM, if you have any questions regarding this message. |
