SUBJECT: NSLDS SSCR Message Classes for 1998-99

On March 28, 1998, the National Student Loan Data System’s SSCR message classes will change. The new message classes will be:

SSCR99OP -- SSCR Roster File sent to schools from NSLDS
SSCR99IN -- Completed/updated Roster File returned to NSLDS
SSCE99OP -- Error/Acknowledgment File sent from NSLDS
SSCM99IN -- Ad hoc File returned to NSLDS

Please be aware that if you return a file to NSLDS on March 27, 1998 with the current message class (SSCR98IN), the Error/Acknowledgment file will be returned using the new message class (SSCE99OP).
