Kansas City
Registrations are still being taken for the Nov 17-19 conference in Kansas City. You can register online at http://edeworkshop.walcoff.com The conference hotel, The Westin Crown Center, is completely full. An overflow hotel, the Hyatt, has been arranged. The Hyatt is conveniently connected to the Westin by a covered walkway. To make reservations, call the Hyatt directly at (816) 421-1234. Ask for a room in the EAC/Dept. of Education room block.

Washington, DC
There is still some availability for the Dec 1-3 conference in Washington, DC. You can register online at http://edeworkshop.walcoff.com Sleeping room reservations are still being accepted at the Marriott Wardman Park. To make reservations, call the Marriott at (202) 328-2900. Ask for a room in the EAC/Dept. of Education room block.

Coronado, CA
There are only a few slots left for the Dec 15-17 conference. You can register online at http://edeworkshop.walcoff.com The conference hotel, The Hotel Del Coronado, is completely sold out. Rooms are available at surrounding hotels. There is not a special room rate or block for our group at these hotels, so call in general to make your reservations. Alternate lodging:

Best Western Suites Coronado ($95-$130 per night)

Marriott Coronado Island (rates start at $124 per night and depend
on arrival and departure dates, and type of room requested)

Important Note: Beginning November 1, 1998 the Hotel Del Coronado
will be a smoke free facility.

Miscellaneous
The tentative agenda and handouts for the conference sessions are currently available on the web site. Review the session descriptions and then go to the handouts link to access the handouts. You can
print the ones you are interested in attending and bring them to
the conference.

At all three conference sites, a continental breakfast will be provided during the morning break.
