DRAFT IFAP Index

PublicationDate: 12/3/97
Summary: DRAFT IFAP Index
Author: PTAS - Policy / Training / And Analysis Service

Dear Colleagues:

The Customer Support Branch seeks your comments and suggestions regarding the
index being developed for the new "Information for Financial Aid Professionals"
(IFAP) web page. The new web page will be available to the community in early 1998.

If you've seen our demonstration at the department's Electronic Access conferences
this year, you will recall the "Catalog" area where we will present a wealth of SFA
publications and letters. Our customers may use the index to locate these documents
according to the program or service and topic to which the publication refers.

We have posted the DRAFT Index on the SFA BBS for your review and comment. The
DRAFT Index can also be accessed via the SFA BBS's web page at the following URL:

http://sfa.ed.gov/TM/T1740

We invite you to send us your comments by Wednesday, December 24, 1997.
Comments can be forwarded via FAX at 202-260-4199, or via electronic mail to:
csb@ed.gov Please put the words "DRAFT IFAP Index" in the subject line of your
fax or E-mail.

With your comments and suggestions we hope our new web collection will be a
valuable tool for the financial aid community.

We look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions on the draft index by
December 24, 1997. Thank you for your time and input.

Sincerely,

Nina Cortada Winkler
