1. (174) A previous message indicated a change would be made
to EDExpress regarding the PLUS Parent's Permanent Address and changes made to the
Stafford Borrower's Permanent Address.
Based on further conversations, it was determined the software is working to
specifications. When the DEMOGRAPHIC DATA UPDATE flag is set to Yes, if a
change is made to a Stafford Sub/Unsub loan record's permanent
address, EDExpress assumes the same change should be made to the PLUS Loan's
borrower's permanent address.
This assumption will be reviewed for modification in the 1997-98 software.
2. (228) The "Choose Selected Records" option in Selection
Criteria is not correctly filtering within EDExpress Applications, Packaging, and Direct
Loan modules. Until the next release of the software, please use a selection criteria other
than "Selected Records".
3. (254) In version 1.3 of the 1995-96 EDExpress for Windows
software, the selection criteria options when exporting disbursements is not properly
exporting the records. Some users experience a database error, while others receive a
"No records selected" message and when the disbursement file is returned by the Direct
Loan Origination Center (DLOC), a batch integrity error.
To resolve the batch integrity error, contact DL Customer Service at 800-330-5947, option
3. Users need to export all disbursements (ie, not use selection criteria) to avoid the
database error and the batch integrity error.
