The Department is pleased to announce the release of the 1999-2000 EDExpress for Windows, Version 5.0 software. This version contains the full Application Processing and Packaging modules for the 1999-2000 cycle.

Distribution of Version 5.0 to all participating EDE institutions will begin on December 30 and will be completed on January 8, 1999.

Version 5.0 is the first 32-bit edition of EDExpress to be released by the Department. PLEASE NOTE: You MUST have Windows 95, NT or 98 as your PC operating system to run this version. You MUST also be in compliance with the system requirements outlined in Action Letter #2 (October, 1997).

In addition to receiving the EDExpress software, you will also receive the 1999-2000 Application Processing and Packaging desk references and the EDExpress Installation Guide in this distribution.
