This conference will include sessions on the impact of reauthorization, technical amendments, the new Master Promissory Note, program policy updates, the new GAPS System, cash management, future innovations, a review of the performance based organization model, and much more. As you may know, the Department sponsored its first Direct Loan conference this past spring and it was an overwhelming success. The number of attendees surpassed all expectations and the many positive evaluations we received urged us to make this conference an annual event. We believe this conference will be of great interest to financial aid directors, business officers, and other staff.
