Re: Automatic SSCRs & Institutions with multiple OPE IDs

EDExpress users who process SSCR records for multiple OPE IDs
need to be aware when exporting automatic SSCR batches that
EDExpress uses the default OPE ID from the SSCR setup in
EDExpress in the batch header. If the default OPE ID does not
match the OPE ID of the records being exported, NSLDS will reject
the entire batch.

During the export of manual batches, the default OPE ID will be
used in the header even if the OPE ID is changed on the export
screen. Again, NSLDS will reject if the OPE ID in the header and on
the records do not match.

Prior to exporting automatic SSCR batches, institutions with multiple
OPE IDs should select TOOLS | SETUP | SSCR | SYSTEM to
change the default OPE ID so the OPE ID in the batch header will
match the OPE ID on the records being exported. Please be sure to
enter your entire 8 digit OPE ID.

If your institution has already exported an automatic SSCR batch
where the OPE ID in the header and the records do not match, select
TOOLS | SETUP | SSCR | SYSTEM and change the default OPE ID
to match that of the records. Please be sure to enter your entire 8
digit OPE ID. Next, regenerate the batch by selecting FILE |
REGENERATE | SSCR. The default file type of "Batch - Auto
SSCR" will be displayed. Click on the ellipsis button after the
BATCH ID box. Once the file is regenerated, transmit it to NSLDS
via Title IV WAN.
