To register for this training, please click on the "Training Information" link on IFAP and follow the instructions on the Training Page. On Wednesday, March 3, we posted an announcement on FINAID-L and other listserves, and on our "Information for Financial Aid Professionals" (IFAP) web site stating that the web registration system for Spring Training 99 was temporarily unavailable due to hardware and software difficulties. Our announcement also said that a small number of registrants had reported registering for one site but receiving confirmation for a different site. In fact, all registrants were registered at the correct sites, even though some of the confirmations listed a different one. To eliminate any confusion over the issue of whether or not someone is registered for the correct location, we have sent e-mail messages to all registrants who registered before our system became unavailable, to re-confirm their registration and training site. All new registrants will, as usual, receive e-mail confirmation of their registration and training site. We look forward to your participation in Spring Training, and apologize for any confusion that may have been caused by an incorrect confirmation of a training location. William J.
