B. CPS "Compute"

Due to technical difficulties, CPS was unable to perform two scheduled
"computes" earlier this week. The "compute" is the application processing
step which results in the generation of the ISIR. Although the document
keying/imaging processes have continued at full speed this week, institutions
have not seen the results of those efforts. That is about to change.

The technical difficulties have been overcome and a LARGE "compute" has
been running since early this morning. The results of this LARGE "compute" -
the ISIRs - should be available for retrieval by the institutions after 9:00 pm
EDT today - Thursday, April 18, 1996.

Thank you for your continued patience and support.
