CPS suspended picking up data from and sending data to the Title IV WAN on
January 17, 1996. Incorrectly formatted header records on some incoming
correction batches resulted in unpredictable processing results. The CPS
has been modified to handle these errors in the future.

Transmissions to and from the Title IV WAN from CPS will resume the
evening of 1/18/96. Destination points do not need to retransmit batches
to the CPS. All correctly formatted batches will be processed.
