This letter announces an upcoming Ask-A-Fed virtual event from Federal Student Aid (FSA) that will provide an opportunity for school personnel from clock-hour schools to meet one-on-one with a Training Officer to ask questions about Title IV policy and operational processes. The virtual event will take place on Aug. 16, 2022, via Microsoft Teams.

Dear Colleague:

The Ask-A-Fed Virtual Office Hours for Clock-Hour Schools event is an opportunity for financial aid administrators from clock-hour schools to meet one-on-one with a Training Officer from FSA to ask questions about Title IV policy and operational processes. Each virtual meeting will be limited to 15 minutes and will occur in a Microsoft Teams breakout room.

Office hours are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, from 1–3 p.m. Eastern time (ET). There may be a difference between your local time and Eastern time. To determine local time and its Eastern time zone equivalent, go to time.gov.

  1. Log into the FSA Training Center (fsatraining.ed.gov).

    Note: If you do not have a username and password for the FSA Training Center, select "Create new account" at the bottom of the login page and follow the instructions to create a username and password.

  2. From the main menu bar, choose “Recorded Training.”

  3. Select “Training Videos.”

  4. Choose the “FSA Resources” category.

  5. Locate the event and select the iCalendar file to download and save the invitation to your calendar. The invitation includes the event link. If Outlook is not your default calendar, you may download the iCalendar (.ics) file and then upload it to your system calendar.
