This letter notifies institutions that the Office of Postsecondary Education and Federal Student Aid have made available slides, recordings, and transcripts for three live webinars providing an overview of the Distance Education and Innovation regulations, which were published on September 2, 2020 and will be effective July 1, 2021 (unless early implemented by institutions).
You may access the slides, recordings, and transcripts for these presentations at two separate locations: 1) OPE’s Negotiated Rulemaking for Higher Education 2018-19 website or 2) the FSA Training Center.

Slides, recordings, and transcripts for the webinars are also available in the FSA Training Center located at https://fsatraining.ed.gov.
To access the training, log in to the FSA Training Center with your username and password. After logging in, select “Recorded Training” from the main menu bar. From the drop-down menu that appears, choose “Training Videos”, then select the “Policy Guidance Videos” icon on the main course page, and choose the video you want to watch. If this is the first time you have watched a video in the Training Videos area, you will first need to select "Start Here" before you are directed to the main course page.
Note: If you do not have a username and password for the FSA Training Center, scroll to the bottom of the login page and click the "Create new account" button and follow the instructions to create a username and password.
