Summary
This letter announces the upcoming availability of Federal Student Aid’s online training module that assists with completing the Fiscal Operations Report for 2018–19 and the Application to Participate for 2020–21 (FISAP).

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce the upcoming availability of an online, self-paced training module that focuses on the Fiscal Operations Report for 2018–19 and Application to Participate for 2020–21 (FISAP). This FISAP is available on the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) Web Site and must be submitted no later than October 1, 2019 by schools that participate in the Federal Perkins Loan (Perkins Loan) Program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) Program, and Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program. In this training, we review the sections of the FISAP, identify changes made to the current FISAP, and discuss the most commonly made errors when completing the form. The training is intended for financial aid and business office staff who are responsible for completing the FISAP, especially those who are new to completing the form.

The "Completing the 2020-2021 FISAP" training module will be available the week of August 12, 2019, on the Federal Student Aid E-Training website, located at https://fsatraining.ed.gov.

To access the training, log in to Federal Student Aid E-Training with your username and password. After logging in, select “Learning Tracks” from the main menu bar. From the drop-down menu that appears, choose "FISAP 2020-2021" and then select "Enroll Me" to launch the course.

Note: If you do not have a username and password for Federal Student Aid E-Training, click on "Create new account" on the home page and follow the instructions to create a username and password.

PDF versions of the current FISAP form and instructions are available on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website at https://ifap.ed.gov/fisap-form-and-instructions/07-26-2019-2020-2021-fisap-form-and-instructions.

Thank you for your continued interest in and support of our training efforts. If you have questions about this training opportunity, please contact David Bartlett at david.bartlett@ed.gov.

Sincerely,

Federal Student Aid
