Subject: FSA Coach – 2017–18 Intermediate Training Course
Summary: FSA Coach Intermediate Training, a web-based training opportunity for more experienced financial aid administrators, is now available for the 2017–18 Award Year.
Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce the availability of an updated course within the FSA Coach training suite. The Intermediate Training course, now updated for the 2017–18 Award Year, offers a self-paced, interactive training opportunity for more experienced financial aid administrators. It complements the Basic Training course for 2017–18 (announced late last year in Dear Colleague Letter ANN-17-10).
FSA Coach lessons can be completed individually or as a full course, allowing users to tailor the training to their specific needs. In addition, the lessons feature hyperlinks to other Federal Student Aid information and products, interactive exercises, review questions, and quizzes that help learners assess their mastery of the course material.
The updated FSA Coach course is available on the Federal Student Aid E-Training website, located at https://fsatraining.info/login.
To access the training, log in to Federal Student Aid E-Training with your username and password. After logging in, point your cursor to "FSA Coach Suite Courses" on the main menu bar. From the drop-down menu that appears, choose "Coach Intermediate 2017–18" to launch the course.
Note: If you do not have a username and password for Federal Student Aid E-Training, select "Create new account" from the home page and follow the instructions to create a username and password.
The training may also be accessed from the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website at https://ifap.ed.gov/ifap/fsacoach.jsp.
We hope you enjoy the updated FSA Coach Intermediate Training course. We welcome your questions or comments in the E-Training Help Center, accessible from the Federal Student Aid E-Training home page.
Sincerely,
Federal Student Aid
